In 2016, the Colombian government and the guerrilla FARC signed a Peace Agreement at the aim of ending a 50\u2013year civil war. Contrary to the expected, significant sectors of Colombian society were against the Agreement and the Peace Process. The further efforts to implement the Peace Accord have been blocked by the configuration of local and national politics. Against this background, the presentation will address the main components of the Agreement, the negotiation process through which it was reached, and the challenges that its implementation currently faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
